i made him open it halfway through dinner and he got really touched after looking at it =)

which made me very happy (:

Had dinner at Novotel Hotel at Clarke Quay. Even though it was buffet style the food were all very exotic i have to say. XO pineapple rice, turkey and so many other quirky small dishes to go along. Dessert section was the best yet. There were so many to chose from. Fruit cocktail, puddings, mouse, shepard's pie, fondue.. Ate so much that it took me like half an hour lazzing around the hotel's couch before i could walk steadily out of it without feeling queasy. Haha embarassing but true.

He got really crazed over the fondue thingy and we were intending of getting one of the machines ourselves.

Me savouring every bite of it. Actually i got so full by the time i reached the dessert section i only ate two sticks.

After dinner, we strolled around clarke quay and they had it live band going on. The crowd and ambience was, i'd say, much better that town's.

Joel opening my 2nd gift back at home. I lead him to the cupboard where he found he's present lying awaiting to be recieved.

And he actually teared for the first time =')

He have me a beautiful blue rose! and something else (that made me really touched too) that i'd leave it to you guys to imagine. (and no its not lingerie haha)

And... on new year's day, i spend it counting down at nightwatch. Had so much fun in the presence of God it was amazing. Everyone was just screaming and yelling and jumping around, it was crazy. And i'm also so grateful for a wonderful cell that i'm still new to. Everyone in the cell were so welcoming and sucha lovely bunch of friends to be with. Looking forward to more in 2007.

After countdown, joel and i proceeded to meet the rest of the ODACIANS for chalet at downtown and we had joel's aunt to drive her lorry and have us picked up at the interchange. We spend the entire night talking about travis 2 weeks stint so far at Tekong. He had so much to tell us.

And yep thats about it for now. till than folks! =)
