29th and counting /11:26 PM

Today marks our 29th and looking back, boy, time really flies. Oddly, i feel so old and young at the same time. Old because in retrospect, we started out in our jc days and our life basically revolves exclusively around school - odac and mugging. Young because it only feels like yesteryear that it all happened. It's 2 years plus now! gee. So anyway we decided to just spent the day together and headed down town after chuch intending to catch When In Vegas. Sad thing they didnt have it at PS GV so we ended up shopping in the end. I didnt do much cause there were hoards of people everywhere. Joel got a shirt from GAP that he's very satisfied with and I got myself a dress =) Ended the day dinning at my favvvv restaurant. Chineseee food!! and topped it off with the OMGH-you-cannot-miss-it! eastside brownie at cafe cartel. An odd observation- cafe cartel seems to be hiring a significant no. of china people, not that I'm against any of them. It just doesnt reflect well to hire a waitress/waiter who's not even the slightest bit versed in English, especially so in a western restaurant. My bro would probably be deriding it bigtime but well I'm not complaining since i got my brownie in the end. Will be skipping land trning tml. Hopefully my back gets better within these few days. I'm off to bed. Goodnight good people...

HELLO YOU GOOD PEOPLE!

Yes I know its been awhile and about time i updated. So here's a fresh new look to a fresh new me. Haha not quite a fresh to me, I'm still the same old. Life has been pretty preoccupied even now as I'm having my hols. Being updating new products at BHC so do check it out. Shuffling from cell, catching up with friends, tutoring, canoe trning... Speaking of which I'd be laying off trning for a week or two after injuring my back from one of the capsize 3 weeks back. Not something I'm too happy about by anyway for the good of my back, will take some time off. Still in contemplation if I'd be fit enough for the race in June. Faith is what I'd start exercising proper now. In good time, it would be all good, if or not i enter in the race.

Of late, I've been thinking. I wanna take this hols to spend quality time with people I actually love and care about. I grateful for the girls whom have always been there for me and true blue friends I can count on. I'm tired of aimless hanging out because at the end of the day, your "friends" can easily replace you but not your family and real friends. I've seen enough of the reoccuring situation to a particular friend to know it all. Social circles that gives a false sense of security and the forlorn to be accepted. At the end of the day it's just emptiness and an aimless purpose in life. The stories about each guys are the same and I'm basically tired to catch up with any of it. I tend to let go and only let on only with people who are genunine. I wanna take this hols to do some quality time with them...

Anyway I'd to end this off with a song by David Cook. I can't agree more with Tom. His rendition of "always be my baby" is way beyond amazing. Enjoy

good fun /11:37 PM

and so i went for a game of badminton today after school with bryan and two other friends. Anne was my personal cheerleader (abeit spending most of her time doing her acct -_-') for the day. had a great game and all i can say is "DAMN! It feels awfully good after sweating my ass out" (pardon the profane language). It really felt so good working out after what feels like forever without PE. I can almost feel the rush of adrenaline and the feel-good hormones surging again. hur hur. I'm gonna make my thursday a PE day since thats the only day with enough time after school for a workout.

On a side not, I'll probably be settling for kayaking since wakeboarding = daylight robbery. Recruitment starts after CNY so I'm hopping to make it. X)

School has been alright. Pretty relaxing so I'm not complaining (although I might have some resentment but ohwell shall not defame the school or rmit for that matter). Gotta make the best it =)

ANYWAY i know i've not been updating regularly, so a few highlights.

1.Joel and I celebrated our 25th month at Menotti which wips up the best desserts

2. I still don't like public transport

3. Barely surviving with my tuition salary

4. Have been busy BHC-ing. Do check out our new items! =)

5. Shayril 21st!

6. I think NS is evil. I'm datelss for Vday.

7. I'm swarmed by mahjong people.

8. I miss everything about old school to the world and back. (Mong knows what I'm talking abt)

public transport's the worst form of transport! i'd rather walk /12:18 AM

I hate public transport. They are hoooorizziible!! Horrible!
The waiting time is forever.
The travelling time is worst.
And the best part of it is that my chances of missing it at my 2nd stop to school is 10:1 all thanks to the 2 horrible roads that I have to cross that takes forever to turn green.

School's In, Holiday's Out. /11:07 AM

Its the start of the 2nd week of school and all i can say is, its rather relaxing given that most of the lectures ran through the introductory of each modules. The only annoying fact is that you're actually debiting close to a 150 bucks on each lecture which the lecturer or basically anyone could easily take 15 mins to go through (the introductory topics) minus all the jargons and a gazillion examples which only put students on the switch off mode. So honey, you do the maths. And it doesn't help that we'd have to print all our lecture notes ourselves this sem. (= broke to a dime)

Oh alright i shant complain futher. Besides the money squandering school fees, I'm not complaining. =) I'm determined to do well this sem, and hopefully even better than the previous sem.

Apart from school, life's been good. Will be helping Shu-en to do up 26 books scrapbook like, for her lil sheeps to jot their spiritual journey down. 26 books quite a mammoth task but i'll do my best, with the Lord's help.

Hello my loves. A Belated Christmas and happy 2008!

The past few weeks have been basically hanging out with old friends indulging in guilty pleasures (read:feasting our hearts out)
